A great breakfast spot! Fluffy pancakes, savory omelettes, sweet crepes, and kids’ favorites make this a go-to breakfast/brunch spot before beach time or exploring town. It does get really busy on weekends, so I suggest getting there early for a table.

One of my family’s personal favorites in Dana Point. We are here at least a few times a month. A laid-back setting, The Shwack offers beachy vibes and a menu full of hits — from burgers and fish tacos to handhelds and more. Their “Grom” kids’ menu means little ones have plenty to choose from, and the casual outdoor and indoor seating is perfect after a beach day. My personal favorite items are the chicken tacos, burgers and spuds!
